News
Fire at Triangle Field
Overnight on Friday 27th June, a major fire at the Triangle Field clubhouse destroyed
the storage area, referee's room, disabled toilet and damaged the home training room.
All the club's training equipment including the mini-soccer goals were destroyed. For
pictures of the damage, click here.
Draft Constitution Available
At the AGM, the club will formally adopt a new constitution. The draft is available
on the website by clicking
here.
The new "Our Club" link above also holds all the new
club policies and codes of conduct. All players, parents and supporters will need
to be familiar with these and accept them as part of the registration for the new
season. You'll also find Child Welfare information on the same page. All of this
is part of the plan to get the club to "Charter Standard" which will ensure the
highest levels of child welfare and quality training.
U12's League & Double!
By beating Wootton Basset 4-0, the U12's have confirmed their position as division
1 champions with a game to spare - completing the double they started by winning
the league cup. Congratulations to all involved.
More Success
In addition to the U12NW team winning the cup, this weekend has also seen the U12
OM team confirm their place as runners-up in the Oxford Mail league and the U14
South Chiltern team ensure their place in next season's division 1. Congratulations
to all!
Under 12's League Cup Champions 2008!
Great 2-0 win for the U12s who led from the start. Albie was named Man of the Match
to round off the day.
Presentation Evening & Open Training - Sat. 7th June
The presentation evening will be held, as last year, at Shaw Social Club, Newbury.
Food, entertainment and disco will be provided. During the day we will be holding
an open training session (11am - 1pm) for all age groups - we'd like as many players
& parents to attend as possible and bring their friends. This is a great opportunity
to find new players for next season.
