Wickham’s B side played Wantage U10’s in a much more even match which saw Wantage unlucky not to score more goals. Lewis Carson opened the scoring for Wickham midway through the first half and when Adam Fisher added a second soon after Wickham seemed to be cruising. However Wantage then stuck the bar and had all the pressure before Josh Berry scored just before half time. In the second half Wantage pushed again and duly pulled one back but then Josh Berry scored his second following a great pass from Lewis Holborn. Two more goals were added from Lewis Carson and Jordan Ball but Wanatge were kept at bay due to excellent goal keeping from Declan Hess and a Man of the Match performance from Ben Cowley in defence.
